Fire alarm installation, maintenance and monitoring

FIRE ALARM INSTALLATION

After reviewing our recommendations based on your requirements, our fire alarm system will be installed by our specialized technicians. If your new system is a wired or wireless fire alarm system, it will include all the essentials needed to effectively upgrade your business for fire detection at all times. You will have a control panel (for system management), which is associated with a combination of smoke detectors and heat detectors. Your system will also include internal and external buzzers (emergency alarms) and emergency stop devices.

FIRE ALARM MAINTENANCE

Once installed, we will regularly maintain the fire alarm. This ensures that your system continues to operate efficiently, so there are no possible delays in your security. Our technicians will perform a fire alarm inspection (to check if your appliances are in good working order) and fire alarm tests (to verify that the appliances are doing what they need to do). If you already have a system and want VACO to take responsibility for its maintenance, in most cases we can "take over" systems installed by other fire alarm companies. System control is usually required to ensure equipment is efficient.

MONITORING THE FIRE SYSTEM
In addition to maintaining fire alarms, we provide 24-hour monitoring for your alarm. This is necessary as it ensures that you will be alerted as soon as any sign of fire is detected. Knowing a fire early means that immediate action can be taken and that losses can be significantly reduced. In an effort to reduce false alarms, most Fire and Rescue Services require visual verification (fire) before they can be watched. Unattended, you have no way of knowing about a fire until it's probably too late. In fact you depend entirely on one of your staff members or the public calling the Fire Department.

If you have remote access to CCTV systems on your site that allow you to verify a fire, this can be a very effective solution.

MUST IT BE MY FIRE SYSTEM ADDRESSING OR COMPATIBLE ?
Addressable Fire Alarm Systems - Addressable systems are when all connected devices (such as smoke detectors) have an "address" or location programmed into the system. This means that if a device is activated, the panel will show exactly what the device was and where it is in the building.

Conventional Fire Alarm Systems - Conventional systems do not allow you to detect which device is turned on. Instead, the areas of the building are divided into "zones".
Fire alarm companies offer two options. Customized systems are generally considered the most reliable option (however, conventional systems may be more affordable). Our Technicians can recommend the best system for you, based on your specific needs and budget.
